Hands-on Learning
We have teamed up with the No.1 history workshop provider, Historic Workshops, to provide you with highly engaging, hands-on learning that is second to none. Most workshops cater for up to 4 classes (all 4 classes benefit from talks, presentations and activities throughout the entire school day).
Whilst we are leading a session to 1 or 2 classes at a time, teachers will lead other practical sessions that have been fully planned and resourced. These sessions are easy to follow; teachers can run the sessions without any prior preparation.

Throughout these workshops, children will handle and investigate some incredible artefacts, based on the topic they will be learning about. Some of these artefacts are genuine and others are replicas. Workshop leaders are fully qualified and will ensure that the day meets as many of the curriculum objectives as possible. All learning is fully inclusive and accessible to all children including SEN and EAL children.

Inspire Curiosity
Each of our workshop leaders is passionate about history and are experts on their subject. The workshops make a day truly memorable and help embed learning far better than any normal history lesson! They are a great way of driving engagement and inspiring curiosity about the topic children are learning about. Children will be able to explore areas that are difficult to imagine and come up with a range of questions and refer back to their experiences when delving deeper into a topic. Many of the schools that we visit comment on the excitement and buzz created by our workshops and the impact that it has on their topic going forward.
Our workshops cater for up to 4 classes for the entire school day.
Each class can choose a different workshop to match their topic.
We bring a plethora of artefacts, both genuine and reproduced.
Every workshop is run by a member of our team to ensure the day runs smoothly.
Presentations and Activities
The presentations are incredibly factual and tailored to the age of the audience. They have been carefully developed to ensure that they are engaging through the use of props, video footage and interesting content.
The activities have been meticulously planned to ensure that they teach the children historically accurate information, whilst being highly engaging and memorable.
